Cinema of south India
The cinema of south India is used to refer collectively to the four film industries of south india, tha kannada, the Malayalam, the Tamil and the Telugu film industries, as a single entity. the are based in Bangalore, Kerala, Chennai and Hyderabad respectively.
Although developed indepently for a long period of time, gross exchange of film performance and techniques as well as globalisation helped to shape this new identity, which competes with other film industries in the world. the largest industries is Telugu and tamil film industries, which are responsible 70% of all film revenue in south India.
